Hyper-processed FM synthesis loud drone created under the influence of absinthe and strobe lights between April and July of 2008. One 19:32 track featuring an unnamed Ellis Electronics synthesizer.

100 hand-numbered copies. 5 tracks recorded between February and May of 2008. portions of xuxa were recorded live by Samantha Mavar at the International Noise Conference San Francisco 2008 and feature David J. Walker on drums. sound sources include a binaural beat generator, a text-to-speech program, a shortwave radio, and the usual mixture of toy and professional instruments. of special note is the The Squarewave Parade Safeplace Rust which was used both as an instrument and a microphone.

Recycled Music

cassette RRRecords 2008
an improv session recorded in February, 2008. two Fisher-Price tape recorders loaded with 30 second cassette loops (one blank, one with previously recorded toy piano), a Sunrise toy organ, a Monotonic Labs Type-U73 into a Ibanez DE7 delay pedal, and a Korg ER-1 all through a mini-amp and recorded with one room mic. Mangled in Cubase, then mastered back onto one of the Fisher-Price machines. Recycled Music is a long running series from RRRecords where various artists prepare works on tape, which are duplicated over other commercial releases (overstock from the RRR store in Lowell, Mass.).

4 tracks recorded in January of 2008. most of this EP was produced using six instruments: an A.L. White Liberty Pipetone Folding Organ, a Kawai Kingston, an Atomo Labs Mochika, a Monotonic Labs Type-U73, a Mattel Bee Gees Rhythm Machine, and a Korg Electribe ER-1. The sounds were minimally processed. sleep was recorded using VST effects and no external sound sources.

20 copies. 5 tracks recorded between February and December of 2007, this was my return to the fognozzle project after several years of focusing on rock and roll. I used vintage toy instruments to produce most of the sounds on this EP, except on Come Back, which features a Hammond Solovox.

Recorded sometime in 1995 at Wow Cool World Headquarters (a warehouse in Oakland, CA at the time) this was a collaboration with fognozzle co-founder Marc Arsenault. I remember almost nothing about this track.
